If you love Halloween and autumn, visiting Disneyland® during Halloween time is a MUST. Here are Halloween offerings you shouldn't miss:

Halloween Time at Disneyland® Resort

Halloween Time at Disneyland® runs from August 21 to October 31, 2026, with new outfits and décor. Enjoy “Paint the Night” and “Wondrous Journeys” from August 10-20, 2026, and “World of Color – ONE” returns August 10.

Disney Characters in Halloween Outfits and Pumpkin Decor at Disneyland® Park

  • Mickey and Minnie Mouse, along with friends, arrive in seasonal outfits with harlequin patterns and vibrant colors. Jack Skellington transforms the Haunted Mansion for Haunted Mansion Holiday with a new gingerbread house and familiar characters like Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie. Fans of Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" should check it out!
  • Take a great fall picture in front of the Halloween Tree in Frontierland. Check out a pumpkin with Disney carvings at the Main Street Pumpkin Festival, including a huge Mickey Mouse pumpkin. Look for a new pumpkin next to the Partners Statue with cool Star Wars carvings. It's going to be a fun time at Disneyland® for everyone!

Villains have overtaken Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, U.S.A., “it's a small world,” and the Rivers of America for the “Halloween Screams” show, featuring characters like Maleficent and Ursula. Certain nights will feature fireworks. For more spooky tales, join Disney's Happiest Haunts Guided Tour through Disneyland® and California Adventure (additional fee required).

Fall festivities are underway at Disney California Adventure® Park! Enjoy spooky decor with Oogie Boogie, bats from Carthay Circle Restaurant, and the Headless Horseman statue on Buena Vista Street.

  • Cars Land is becoming the “fa-boo-lous” Radiator Screams, with “car-achnids,” a “pump-kin” patch, and locals in “car-stumes.” Take a break and enjoy Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween.
  • Every late afternoon, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark takes over the Collector's Fortress in Avengers Campus. Team up with Rocket to keep the scary monsters busy and save Groot, but be alert for spooky surprises.

  • Get the kids ready for some spooky fun! They'll enjoy "Mickey's Trick and Treat" at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land starting August 18 if they love Halloween songs and Mickey.

Join the Halloween Fun at the Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort

Creepy-cute decorations are set to spread holiday cheer across all the hotels at Disneyland® Resort. New decor inspired by Disney and Pixar's Monsters, Inc. will be at Pixar Place Hotel, and the Disneyland® Hotel will have elements from the Haunted Mansion. The kitchen teams are creating fun candy displays for Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland® Hotel.

  • Experience "The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!" with traveling storytellers performing songs like “Remember Me” and “The World Es Mi Familia.” Join in singing and dancing to live mariachi music at the Paradise Garden Bandstand.
  • Stroll through Paradise Gardens Park to see the colorful marigold arch, calaca statues, and the memory wall for notes to remember loved ones.

Taste and Wear the Flavors of Mexico

There's a lively Día de los Muertos display at Disneyland® near Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, and it's a true fall gem. It features catrinas, calacas, marigolds, and other traditional ofrenda items.

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party

Experience the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, from August 18 to October 31. Have fun with costumes, collecting candy, and shorter lines for rides from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. You also get early entry and unlimited PhotoPass downloads. A separate ticket is required for the Oogie Boogie Bash, not included with discounted Disneyland® tickets.

Join the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party for a great view of the street party and treats inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Reservations will be available on the official website later this summer.

  • California Adventure's Halloween experience features rare Disney villains, themed treats, and trick-or-treat trails. Villains Grove showcases characters like the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier, while Ichabod Crane evades the Headless Horseman. The event includes attractions, treats, eerie decorations, and family-friendly photo spots.
