Disneyland® has kicked off its holiday festivities. Once Christmas ends, you'll want to plan for next year’s adventures. The Disneyland® Resort will introduce many new attractions in 2026, including special events for families and live entertainment featuring various Disney characters. The 70th Anniversary celebrations magic continues.

In 2026, Disneyland® Resort continues with 70th anniversary with fun starting in January. Anniversary entertainment will include beloved shows like “World of Color Happiness!” and “Tapestry of Happiness,” enhancing the celebration.

March 22: Bluey's Best Day Ever

May 22: New Mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

A new adventure with The Mandalorian and Grogu launches on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland® on May 22, 2026, coinciding with a new Star Wars movie release. More exciting Star Wars experiences, including the limited-time return of Hyperspace Mountain, will start in April 28!

July 2: Soarin’ Across America

Soarin’ Across America will debut at Disneyland® Resort on July 2, 2026, celebrating the nation’s natural beauty and urban landscapes.

New Dining and Shopping Spots at Downtown Disney District

Downtown Disney District will have new openings in 2026, including Earl of Sandwich and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, after additions in 2025 like Disney Wonderful World of Sweets and Parkside Market.

Disneyland® Railroad Guided Tour

The Disneyland® Railroad tour returns January 16, 2026, with bookings available January 8. Experience Walt Disney's love for trains on the Lilly Belle.

Plans for future expansion are underway.

In 2026, projects at the Esplanade and Disney California Adventure® Park will include a Coco attraction and a new Avatar area, while Avengers Campus expansion is already underway.
